RJ-302: Community Building and Restorative Justices
3 credit hours
This course will explore the foundational values and philosophy underpinning the restorative Justice of peacemaking and talking circles as a method of building community. Students will learn to design and conduct the circles process for the purpose of peace making, community building and conflict resolution. This course is for students who want to enhance their understanding of how to use Restorative Justice and values to build community reflective of restorative values of respect and humility.
Prerequisites: RJ-301 or have been practicing RP in the community or Permission of the instructor.
