RJ-306: Restorative Justice and School Settings

3 credit hours

Restorative Justice has been consistently used for classroom management; collaborative pedagogy; student support; emotional awareness and literacy; building a positive school climate; alternate discipline; and strengthening positive connections with parents and community. This course is designed for individuals who are or will be working with children and young adults in classrooms or similar type settings. It will provide students, teachers, guidance counselors, administrators, and school support personnel an opportunity to learn how to implement restorative Justices in the classroom and greater school culture.

Prerequisites: RJ-301  RJ-302 RJ-303 RJ-304 or have been practicing RP in the community or permission of instructor.
