This course prepares the professional nurse to translate clinical research and to critically appraise literature and other evidence related to health care practices. During this course, the student will become familiar with the research process, statistical analysis, and interpretation of data. The student will apply this knowledge by identifying evidence based practice recommendations and mechanisms for incorporation into health care.
