ART-245: Digital Media & Art II

Building upon skills developed in Digital Media & Art I, students will further explore traditional and experimental digital technologies in time-based art. Students will explore virtual and interactive environments, video installation and time-based art, including a variety of animation techniques. This course expands and complements the other foundation courses and prepares interested students for further study with time-based media. There will also be readings and discussions on contemporary issues related to time-based arts. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
Prerequisite: ART-145
