ART-375: Junior Review
Junior Review is a course that will allow for both reflection on individual artistic and conceptual development, as well as setting specific goals and objectives for refining artistic and conceptual development that will ultimately lead to a body of work that will culminate during Senior Thesis. Regular class meetings will engage students in reading, writing, and discussion, activities that will help students explore, understand, and explain their ideas in relationship to medium and design choices. Throughout the course students will receive scheduled studio critiques culminating in a final project that they will present to faculty, classmates, and a visiting artist(s). This course is taken during the junior year and prepares students for the independent exploration of ideas and materials, as well as the work ethic that it is required for Senior Thesis.
