This course is an introduction to printmaking techniques with a focus on collagraph, intaglio, mono-print and relief. Through demonstrations, studio work, visual presentations, readings, and discussions, students will obtain a basic knowledge of printmaking and its history. Non-toxic and less–toxic, sustainable printmaking techniques and materials are used as much as possible. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
