Analysis of important legal issues in nursing is conducted. A review of employment law includes, but is not limited to, hiring, discharging, contracts, disciplinary and grievance procedures. Ethics as related to law is examined. The health care environment of malpractice, liability, and changing roles in nursing and health care service is reviewed.
