NURS-663: Evidence-Based Practice in Health Care II

3 credit hours
A continuation of NURS 662. Advance practice nursing students will focus upon selected questions and topics most often seen in primary care. The skills necessary within the Advanced Physical Assessment will be obtained through demonstration and practice. Computerized learning and laboratory models will be used, and students will build upon this through guided clinical assessment experiences with human models. Students will have a clinical laboratory experience in order to build expertise in their ability to integrate advanced physical assessment findings with discrete human systems and pathophysiology. Recommended assessment of female and male reproductive systems are included.
