NURS-428: Leadership and Management in Nursing

3 credit hours
This course is designed for students to explore the role of the nurse in the health care delivery system, to apply leadership and management skills in the clinical setting and to analyze contemporary issues affecting nursing practice. Students apply critical thinking skills in the synthesis of knowledge from sciences, humanities, religious studies, nursing and related fields to begin to develop their own professional and career vision and goals.
