MATH-120: Advanced Mathematics for Natural Science

3 credit hours

Provides the mathematics background for Calculus-based Physics. Focuses on rational functions, matrices, sequences and series, systems of equations, and Trigonometry. This is the first course in a math/science sequence ending with Classical Physics II. This course is normally restricted to Natural Science majors and can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.

Prerequisites:MATH-104 or MATH-113 or MATH-115 or 23 or above on the ACT Math Sub-Score
