NURS-673: Nurse Practitioner Clinical Practicum I
3 credit hours
This course emphasizes the clinical application of health promotion, education, and therapeutic nursing interventions as a primary health care provider. It includes emphasis on care of the family unit that contains children and adolescents. Seminar experiences will include growth and development and factors that strengthen the family unit or put the family unit at stress. Collaboration with other health care providers is encouraged and facilitated. (Students complete 210 precepted clinical hours.)
