MSAT-519: Neuroscience for the Active Population with Lab

This course provides students with an in-depth understanding of the structure and function of the central nervous system as it relates to athletic training practice. Emphasis is placed on neural pathways, sensory and motor integration, and mechanisms of neuroplasticity that influence rehabilitation and recovery. Students will demonstrate knowledge of key neurological concepts and apply this understanding to clinical decision-making in athletic training.
