RAD-123: Advanced Imaging

1 credit hour

This course deepens students’ understanding of imaging concepts, focusing on radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, digital imaging systems, and the technical factors that influence image quality. Students will master the relationship between patient factors and image acquisition. The course also covers image perception, PACS, digital display devices, artifacts, and the principles of quality control and quality assurance for both imaging and display systems. Together, these topics prepare students to produce and evaluate optimal diagnostic images.
