RAD-213: Radiation Physics

2 credit hours

This course introduces foundational principles of general physics and connects them to key concepts in radiation physics. Students explore the basics of electricity, magnetism, matter, and energy, building the groundwork needed to understand how radiation behaves. The radiation‑focused portion covers x‑ray production, interactions, emissions, and methods of measurement, providing the scientific basis for later radiologic applications.
