PSY-850: Assessment and Intervention with Adults

This course is designed for students who have completed PSY 740 or have permission from the professor. This course will discuss the applied psychological science of forensic assessment and intervention with adults involved in criminal and civil proceedings, including
forensic assessment methods and procedures (e.g., competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, civil commitment, and civil competencies) and evidence-based treatment in correctional settings.
