MATH-115: Precaclculus

3 credit hours
Focuses on solving, graphing, and applying a variety of equations and inequalities, including polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and rational functions. Introduces matrices, systems of equations, and series. This course also presents probability topics. This is a first course in a math sequence ending with calculus. It is expected that students will progress to Math 117 and Math 253. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.

Prerequisite courses:MATH-104 or 26 or above on the ACT Math Sub-Score.
