EDD-786: Teaching of English as a Second Language

3 credit hours
Designed exclusively for international students, this course provides students with the theoretical backgrounds of language acquisition and cognitive development and examines critical issues in teaching English as a second language. In addition, areas of curriculum development, materials selection, language assessment, cultural inclusion and program evaluation are addressed in specified by TESOL guidelines.

Prerequisite: Admission to the Ed.D. Program.
