EDD-803: Research Methodology and Problem Solving

4 credit hours
The purpose of this course is to train doctoral-level participants in the use of the scientific approach in research and to ensure informed decision making grounded in empirical research. Participants will develop the knowledge, skills, and aptitudes that characterize the competent researcher, regardless of the environment employed. In this course, participants will think systematically about inquiry and how it aligns with the design and performance improvement principles around which an organization is constructed. It is inquiry that informs how leaders conceive, develop, implement, and evaluate interventions (programs, products, systems, aids) so that organizational goals and objectives are achieved.
