EDD-806: Understanding and Using Data

In this course participants will integrate the fundamentals of scientific methodology, increase their knowledge and application of qualitative research methods, and acquire quantitative skills in measurement and statistical evaluation. These skills will be applied through reviewing, evaluating, and communicating research. This course emphasizes understanding organizational data. Successful use of data to drive decision making is not random, but results from a strategic focus on specific issues. In addition to descriptive, qualitative and quantitative statistics, participants will learn how to analyze market data, poles, dashboards, and financial data.
