EDD-814: Applying Leadership Styles and Tactics to Contemporary, Global Organizational Issues

4 credit hours
Participants in this course will experience and participate in the application of various leadership styles and related tactics. Participants will explore a variety of ways complex problems manifest in the world, are approached methodologically and ideologically, and how leaders creatively respond to complex challenges. The course is designed for participants to think broadly about global issues and develop skills for leadership positions in business, government, and non-profit organizations. For the first time in history, four generations of workers are in the workplace, people are changing jobs at a record pace, and knowledge now doubles every 72 hours. These conditions, among many, require effective leadership styles and tactics to maximize results.
