HS-635: Telehealth Applications for Rehabilitation and Education

Telehealth is the use of electronic information and communication technologies to deliver health care services, patient and professional health-related education, public health and health administration. This course provides an overview of telehealth and its relation to assistive technology. Content focus includes telehealth technologies, standards and guidelines, practice considerations, and clinical applications. Students will discuss pertinent outcome research on the use of telehealth technologies in rehabilitation, health care, and education.
