Through the design of websites, blogs and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Etsy; students will explore ways that the Internet can become an interactive art gallery to reach a global audience. Lectures and reading assignments will cover the history of Internet art; as well as various forms of visual and text-based communication through the World-Wide-Web. Students will create their own online interactive "Internet Art" site that showcases their own work as a final portfolio project.
