Students will demonstrate leadership, mentoring, and teaching skills through direct interactions with clinical faculty, first year clinical students, and other healthcare team members. Students will demonstrate greater self-directed learning, and inter-disciplinary problem-solving skills. Students will complete their portfolio of year 1 and year 2 clinical education experiences and present it to fellow students, faculty, and community members. This represents a 40 hour/week clinical education experience in an area of special interest to the athletic training student.
