Master's degree students must complete all requirements for the degree, including all comprehensive and/or qualifying examinations and internships within 5 calendar years. MFA students have ten years to complete the degree once begun.

Doctor of Education students must complete all requirements for the degree within 5 calendar years. Doctor of Psychology students must complete all requirements for the degree within 8 calendar years. Requests for extensions of the doctoral time limit are handled at the school or program level.
