KSAG-220: Typography I

3 credit hours

Typography requires an ability to compose classical and contemporary forms expressively. In this course students learn the principles of
creating and organizing letters in space and time. History, theory, practice and technology associated with typography will help students
learn the power of typographic form and teach them to become adept at creating meaning and emotional impact. Students will learn to use typography in both display and body copy sensibilities for intended effect.
