This course will survey artistic traditions of non-western cultures from geographic regions such as Africa, China, India, Japan, the Middle East, Oceania, and pre-Columbian Central and South America. Relevant belief systems, philosophies, customs, and values will be discussed to enhance cultural and aesthetic understanding.

Prerequisites: KSAH-253 KSAH-254 KSAH-252 or consent of the instructor.
