Since hybrid FLEX classes meet only six times per session, it is essential that FLEX instructors emphasize learning from the start. To maximize in-class time, instructors of hybrid FLEX classes design pre-assignments that students must complete prior to the first class meeting. Before the beginning of each session the syllabus, including the pre-assignment is available on the FLEX website. Course syllabi are posted on the Spalding website at http://blog.spalding.edu/aap , accessible through the Spalding Portal. Some professors may also post syllabi on Moodle.

Students are expected to purchase textbooks and/or any other required materials and bring completed assignments to the first class meeting.
