NURS-306: Research in Health Sciences
3 credit hours
Students will develop skills related to becoming consumers of research as applicable to practice in the health sciences. The course is designed to assist consumers of research in evaluating the adequacy of research findings in terms of their scientific merit and potential for utilization. Emphasizes developing abilities to interpret research reports and assist in scientific investigations. A thorough and comprehensive critique of research reports will be included.
Pre-requisites: admission into a health sciences major, pre-second degree major, or permission of the faculty.
