SS-105: The Ireland Experience

This interdisciplinary course is an introduction to Irish culture. Students will come to an understanding of contemporary life in Ireland through an exploration of various disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. During a two-week stay in Ireland, each student will explore her or his own experience with Irish culture through class activities, discussions, and journal reflections, as well as complete a final project in an area of the student's choice that has been proposed in conjunction with and approved by an appropriate member of the Liberal Studies faculty.
