NURS-614: Scholarly Synthesis
3 credit hours
This course will enable the advanced practice student to pursue a unique research based clinical venture, under the guidance of a faculty advisor. Beginning the first semester of classes, the student will be guided and supported in the pursuit of a unique project, the results of which will be shared at a formal presentation prior to graduation. The student is guided by the faculty advisor in the selection of a topic, the gathering of research materials, the fusion of the project with clinical experience and interests, up to the presentation of the synthesis at the end of the student's time in the Graduate School of Nursing.
