1-3 credit hours

A course for students needing additional experiences in order to increase identified clinical competencies. The course will focus on health promotion and disease prevention, patient education, and therapeutic nursing interventions at the advanced practice level in common health problems, specifically targeted to underserved populations. Students are encouraged to select a clinical focus area for this experience and write desired individual outcomes in cooperation with faculty.
