ENG-605: Advanced Creative Writing
3 credit hours
Advanced Creative Writing serves students who wish to receive graduate-level instruction in creative writing but are not currently admitted as students of Spalding’s School of Creative and Professional Writing. With guidance from a faculty mentor, the student completes an Independent Study Plan, which includes the exchange of four packets of original creative writing. Each packet includes no more than 25 pages of student writing. The mentor provides critique and instruction to the student in a written or recorded response. Students complete a midsession and end-of-session evaluation. ENG505/605 does not count toward graduation or certificate completion.
