ART-128: Introduction to Sculptural Processes I

This course is an introduction to contemporary sculptural practice. The course will focus on basic techniques including additive, subtractive and digital creation for the purpose of understanding how to design, construct, and create with intent. Projects will focus on idea development, mockups, and execution while exploring material choice, limitations, and the use of multiple materials. Additionally there will be demonstrations on proper use and safety with the tools in the sculpture studio. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
