ART-325: Motion Graphics
3 credit hours
Motion graphics can be anything from the title sequences to your favorite film or television show, or the texts that you see popping into names and labels on a news broadcast, to the animated elements flying in and out of the screen of an advertisement. Motion graphics are often short clips that animate a graphic design concept on a screen. Utilizing photography, video, and music students will learn to apply design principles to time-based media through short clips, projected video, and short films. This course is a medium for experimentation, idea generation, problem solving and communication in using motion.
