PHSC-101: Fundamentals of Physical Science
3 credit hours
One session course in the physical sciences for non-science majors. The content is drawn from physics and chemistry. Topics include the scientific method, kinematics, dynamics, forces, energy, heat, sound waves, light waves, electromagnetism, atomic structure, chemical compounds, and chemical reactions. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements, but does not satisfy the Physics requirement for Occupational Therapy students. This course does not count toward the science credit hours needed by a Natural Science major for graduation.
Prerequisite: MATH-104 or higher
