ART-365: Writing +
3 credit hours
Students explore the visual look of language in design, artistic, and other maker-based practices. This class introduces writers to graphic design and layout through industry relevant software and materials; to high and low cultural applications of text and words in the arts via historical examples and practical demonstrations; to exposure to cutting edge technologies and materials in our makerspace of analog and digital fabrication tools. This class will let you write with an eye for the visual presentation of language.
Prerequisites: Foundation sequence, ART 155 or ART 165 or permission of instructor
