ARTH-265: Special Topics in Western Art

Explores topics in Western art through the study of selected works of painting, sculpture, architecture, and other arts in relation to the cultures producing them. May be repeated provided the topic differs. It is designed to familiarize students with the major artistic developments within the Western academic tradition; to build their understanding of the key terms, themes, and concepts used in visual analysis and interpretation; and to improve their verbal reasoning, speaking, and writing abilities.
