ARTH-355: Alternative Perspectives in Art History: Special Topics

Studies artistic traditions of non-Western Europe cultures, such as African, Oceanic, Pre-Columbian America, or Asian Art. May be repeated provided the topic differs. It is designed to familiarize students with the major artistic developments within the Western academic tradition; to build their understanding of the key terms, themes, and concepts used in visual analysis and interpretation; and to improve their verbal reasoning, speaking, and writing abilities.
