This course is designed to provide rich and varied opportunities for practice experiences to achieve the essential and specialty competencies necessary for advanced specialty nursing practice and leadership at the systems level. Experiences are designed to include in-depth work with experts in both nursing and other scientific disciplines designed to provide meaningful student engagement within the complexity of nursing practice in today’s volatile healthcare environment. This course is mandatory for all DNP students. The student will enroll in this course with the start of their first class. A grade of Pass (P) in this course must be received in order to graduate with a DNP degree.
