CW-326: Online + Print Publication Publishing Course
3 credit hours
Not all writers will become novelists and even novelists often have to supplement their income or build their career with short-form writing. In this course we will cover how to find and submit and pitch work to print and digital publications, from literary magazines to mainstream outlets. Students will be introduced to tools, work flows, digital platforms, online sources, and organizational methods of
publishing writing across multiple genres and modes of writing. At the completion of the course, each student will have written a new work and submitted it for publication. Open to non-majors.
