Case Management has become a key activity in the successful treatment of individuals with alcohol and other drug dependency. Research on addictive behaviors indicates the role of the case manager as a major factor across the continuum of care in the areas of intervention, retention, and aftercare. Learners will develop advanced knowledge and skill methods of case management and the concept of Recovery Management. This course provides training for the core function of case management and meets the requirement of facilities licensed as Alcohol and Other Drug Entity by the State of Kentucky for case management training.
