CJR-325: Juvenile Justice Reform

This course will introduce, examine, and provide students the skills with which to analyze drug reform. This course will emphasize a conceptual approach rather than a statistical focus to studying the creation, implementation, and evaluation of drug reform. Topics may include school-related problems, status offenses, reducing youth incarceration, prosecuting children as adults, children in adult prison, death in prison sentences, disproportionate minority contact, transitional home and more.
