This course examines the components of high quality professional development for teachers. A special emphasis is placed on how teacher leaders can design, implement and evaluate professional development in their school setting. Topics include components of high quality staff development, professional learning communities and their use in professional development, and how to use Professional Learning Communities to implement Lesson Study.
