3 credit hours

Utilizing a foundation of basic medical/surgical knowledge gained in NURS I and NURS II and basic research techniques gained in Nursing Research, this course introduces beginning concepts of leadership and management to patient care. As a requirement of this course students working in groups will identify and complete an evidenced based group project in a specified clinical facility. A clinical component will be included as a part of this course.
