NURS-479: Adult Health IV
4 credit hours
Designed to introduce the student to the complex health needs of the adult. Nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention classification, and nursing outcome competencies are utilized within the clinical area. Clinical experiences are conducted within emergent, acute, secondary, and tertiary care settings across the community. The clinical experience is designed to allow the student to select an individual specialized track. Students care for clients in acute and home healthcare situations in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide teaching and case management.
Prerequisite: All 300-level Nursing Courses
