SW-610: Social Work Practice II

Social Work Practice II exposes learners to a generalist practice perspective for social work practice with mezzo systems, including families, groups, and organizations. Learners learn and practice skills in engagement, assessment, intervention, and endings and transitions within a mezzo context. The process and dynamics that occur in mezzo systems will be explored. Learners will learn about the stages of group development and specific techniques that can be used to facilitate problem-solving at each stage.
Prerequisite: Admission to MSW Program.
