SW-350: Research for Social Work

This is the first in a two-part course sequence in research methods, research design, data analysis and evaluation. The main emphasis of the first course is to help learners understand and appreciate the connection between research and practice for the generalist practitioner. This course will cover the research process, various research methods and statistical procedures, with a focus on quantitative methods. It will enhance students' ability to consume and critique scientific information related to practice.
