SW-605: Exit Colloquium Seminar
1 credit hour
Using all of the MSW curriculum, learners develop a culminating project that demonstrates: 1) an understanding and application of core social work knowledge, values and skills, 2) expertise in a particular area of interest, and 3) synthesis of their learning with professional practice. This culminating colloquium provides learners a forum to discuss progress on culminating projects and view faculty members presenting current research. Students have the opportunity to ask questions regarding their projects, and get examples of professional presentations from the faculty members, in order to better prepare for the presentations of their own culminating projects.
Prerequisite: Admission to MSW Program.
