KSAS-380: The Object, Mass Production and Multiples

In this course students will consider the aesthetic and culturally significant aspects of everyday items from domestic, industrial, consumer, and manufacturing contexts. Students will explore processes including appropriation, using found objects in a visual art context, mold making, and other high production processes. Technical demonstrations and assistance will be provided as appropriate. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing and KSA-130 or consent of the instructor
