ENG-627: Project Hours

3-5 credit hours

Students who have successfully completed the ENG-623, ENG-625, or ENG-643 independent study course may enroll in this ENG-627, if needed, to continue working on culminating projects. ENG-627 must be taken before the student enrolls in the Capstone Residency course or Graduation Residency course. This course does not include a packet exchange; rather as with thesis or dissertation “hours,” ENG-627 allows students to continue their capstone or graduation work under the guidance of a faculty member. The faculty member and student create a schedule for conferences at the beginning, midpoint, and end of ENG-627 to discuss the progress of the culminating work. The student submits evaluations. Students who enroll in ENG-627, receive the grade X for ENG-623, ENG-625, or ENG643 until the culminating project is approved; once approved the student receives full credit for ENG-623, ENG-625, or ENG-643, as well as ENG-627.

Prerequisite courses: Permission of the Chair or Associate Programs Director.
